From Nov. 14 through 20, Ala Moana Center will be serving up a ton of special dining promotions and pricing for the Fourth Annual Restaurant Week Hawai‘i, a weeklong celebration of cuisine in the Islands. Diners will enjoy special menu items and a variety of delicious regional dishes made using locally grown farm-to-table produce. Participating Ala Moana Center restaurants include everyone from fine dining eateries such as The Pineapple Room, Mariposa and Morton’s the Steakhouse, to casually chic spots the likes of Blue Hawai‘i Lifestyle and Longhi’s, and fast food favorites such as McDonalds.
Get a FREE copy of The Hawai‘i Book of Rice by dining* at any two different participating Ala Moana Center restaurants from Nov. 14 to 20, 2011, and presenting your receipts during the same time period at the Customer Service Center. Limit one per person, while supplies last. Recipes from Mariposa at Neiman Marcus Chef Marc Freiberg (Pan-Roasted Salmon with Basmati Wild Rice) and The Pineapple Room Owner/Chef Alan Wong (Dried Scallop Risotto) and Pastry Chef Michelle Karr (Kaffir Lemongrass Jasmine Rice Sorbet) can be found in The Hawai‘i Book of Rice. Restaurant Week Hawai‘i supports the initiatives of the Culinary Institute of the Pacific at Diamond Head, a four-year program designed to train Hawai‘i’s future top chefs, and cultivate the local restaurant and hospitality industry.
